Executive Leadership Collaborative
The Executive Leadership Collaborative (ELC) is a peer network designed specifically for the top leader within FFTA Member organizations. Through meaningful connections, candid conversations, and shared learning, participants gain insight, support, and perspective from peers who understand the unique realities of leading at the top of an organization.
The top leader of a human services organization carry a unique responsibility. They inspire confidence among boards & staff and navigate complexity that few people around them fully understand. And while leading an organization brings immense pride and deep purpose, the reality is this: there aren't many people in the day-to-day world who share the view from where a top leader sits.
Last year, FFTA launched the Executive Leadership Collaborative (ELC) with 18 top executives from FFTA Member organizations. What started as a professional initiative quickly became something deeper. ELC members describe building connections that extend well beyond the virtual meeting room - relationships that have grown into genuine professional and personal bonds. In one case, a fellow ELC leader's expertise on mergers and acquisitions became a trusted resource for another member navigating that very challenge - not through a formal referral, but because of the trust and access the ELC created.
Members consistently share that they appreciate the facilitators, the peer-driven discussions, and the rare opportunity to be in a space designed specifically for leaders at the top of an organization.
