Placement stability is important to the well-being of youth placed in foster care, with youth who have fewer placement disruptions experiencing better emotional and behavioral outcomes. This workshop will present a quality improvement initiative implemented by a foster care agency to understand why placement disruptions occur and how to prevent them from occurring in order to maintain placement stability. How to transform data into clinical and programmatic action items—and the benefits of doing so—will also be discussed.
