As the child welfare system continues to experience rapid changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, FFTA will begin a new weekly webinar series for FFTA members designed to offer you up-to- date information, resources and support in an ever changing environment. 

This ongoing series will be hosted by Treva Johnson, FFTA's National Public Policy Director, and will include topics designed with real time information and data that is crucial for agencies as they navigate through the challenges brought on by the pandemic crisis. Learn how recent and upcoming aid packages will impact your agency, understand what new rules and regulations mean for service delivery across the Nation, hear from agencies of every size as they implement new strategies of sustainability, and many other evolving topics.

We will breakdown the recent stimulus packages and their specific impact on child placing agencies

Webinar 2: Monday, April 6, 2pm EDT (1pm CDT; 12pm MDT; 11am PDT; 10am EDT Alaska time; 8am Hawaii time)

We will discuss guidance and recommendations that have been issued from the various National sectors. We will look at ACYF guidance, explore amended rules and guidelines across all child welfare sectors, and continue to understand how the 3 relief packages will effect service provision on a daily basis.

Join FFTA for our next webinar series installment. We will take a look at what child welfare looks like as we continue to work in the COVID-19 crisis, and review changes to Federal legislation, rules and guidelines. The fifth installment of the Responding to COVID-19 webinar series will cover trauma informed care in policy and practice, preparing for the trauma issues agencies will be working with once the crisis lifts and children start back to school. Guest speakers from the Campaign for Trauma Informed Policy and Practice (CTIPP) campaign will join us.

Dr. Jerry Milner will provide an update from the Administration of Children and Families.
