Welcome to the Advocacy Briefcase

Welcome! We appreciate your interest in the FFTA Advocacy Briefcase and hope you find it useful.

The goal of the FFTA Advocacy Briefcase is to help you find improved ways to accomplish your mission by providing you with tools that will support your agency’s advocacy efforts. Among the advocacy topics included are: treatment foster children, treatment foster parents, treatment foster care information, how to make presentations about TFC, basics about adult learning, how to work with the media, and how to address elected officials.

The FFTA Advocacy Briefcase is a tool that will really work to help you advocate for Treatment Foster Care and for the children and families that we serve.

Since there is always room for improvement, your input is welcome and encouraged. Please send your ideas, articles, PSA’s, speeches, and other advocacy items to be a source of ideas/inspiration for others to the FFTA office via email: ffta@ffta.org, or via mail to FFTA, 294 Union St., Hackensack, NJ 07601.

In the meantime, please, try it, refine it or excel it! If we can be of further assistance or you need more information, please email your questions or suggestions to ffta@ffta.org.

Sincerely,

TFC Public Awareness Committee
Foster Family-based Treatment Association
