Elected Officials: Finding Out Who and Where They Are

UNITED STATES SENATORS
Let’s return to Social Studies class. Each State elects two Senators. Here is a link to find out the name and address of yours.

UNITED STATES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
In the United States House of Representatives, the population of your State determines the number of Congressmen. Visit the following web site and enter your State and zip code to find out who your Congressman is. Chances are he/she has a web site highlighting the bills and actions he/she has been involved in.

STATE LEGISLATORS
Now you will need to identify your representatives to your State government. Try this link. It will provide access to your state legislature page, and other pertinent links to gain information within your State.

STATE GOVERNORS
Click on the link below, select your State, and presto, you will have all the information you need about who your Governor is, where to locate him/her, and what items he/she has supported!

MAYOR OF YOUR CITY
The following link will take you to Cities On Line, which will guide you to find out all about your Mayor and the rest of your city government! It will give addresses, phone and email listings, and even show pictures of your city government officials!
